STRATEGIES OF IMPOLITENESS IN THE KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS SERIES ON YOUTUBE

The primary goal of this descriptive qualitative study was to investigate the strategies impoliteness used by speakers in Keeping Up With Kardashians series on YouTube. utterances which contain uttered within were taken as data. Furthermore, data analyzed identifying strategy according Culpeper (2005)’s theory. Descriptive Creswell & (2018) performed research. observational method collect analyze pragmatic identity conducted along with equalizing technique. results showed at least fifteen produced an three videos series. four (4) negative impoliteness, sarcasm / mock politeness, (3) withhold two (2) bald record, and positive impoliteness. most frequently Impoliteness is not always rude behaviors but a simple utterance can also indicate act
